Salad, smash burgers, locally crafted beer, intimidatingly large shakes and desserts. This spot has it all. The shakes are so good that you almost may want to order them before the food. 

With a jovial atmosphere this is a great place to stop in for a bite to eat, a drink or a full sit down experience. Neighboring the back cove area they aren’t far from the hub of restaurants located in the Old Port or Kennedy Park area.

One of the coziest spots to stop coming across the bridge into Maine is Maine Diner. Known for their lobster pie, blueberry pie and pancakes they have countless options. The staff has been working hard to keep the place running smooth and is doing an amazing job. 

You’ll also see a picture of me on the wall if you look close enough! I highly suggest trying as much of the menu as possible and their soups always brighten the mood as well. 

Fatboy Drive-in (Brunswick) •

Specializing in the classics of burgers and fries, while expanding to crab rolls and more this 50’s style joint is a great stop in Brunswick. You can order from the comfort of your car if you choose which is a classic touch. 

The vintage sign pointing directly to the oversized kitchen with sizzling skillets will make you feel at home. Make sure you also get dessert, they have some great shake options.
