One of the most iconic restaurants in Los Angeles period. The restaurant of choice to many of Hollywoods early stars such as Alice Cooper to John Lennon, the walls are filled with history and stories. The inside is an amazing dimly lit vibe with neon lights and pictures from wall to ceiling.

The original owner insisted on keeping the tradition of great Italian food alive and that resonates in the quality pizza they serve that will always satisfy late night cravings. They also have a stuffed mushroom that was insanely good and something I never knew I needed in my life but I needed it. Staff is amazing and have amazing individual style.

When the owner of the spot knows more than half the customers names and is talking with nearly everyone who’s in line to order you know it’s a good spot. This is a good spot. All the staff are welcoming and give off a family energy from the jump. Classic east coast style sandwiches are plentiful here and the ingredients are extremely fresh.

Dessert is a must here. I don’t care if you pull up early in the day, it’s always a good time for dessert. With some of the best carrot cake this side of the valley and other freshly made options you have plenty to choose from. Fresh made with love and care bruh, you can’t go wrong.

With classics from a Chinese American menu you really can’t go wrong. From salads to sweet and sour chicken right back to orange chicken, what else do I have to say. Their “General Tso Chicken” is arguably most popular and is extra crispy with a nice kick of spice to it from chili peppers. Comedian Malik Bazille co-signs these to the max.

A great spot to stop for a quick lunch date or just to grab some food in the area, it’s right across from Mel’s and is worth a stop.
