A sanctuary off of Ventura Boulevard for delicious pastas, shakes, quesadillas and more, this spot has plenty of options for all three meals of the day.
Ambiance is unprecedented here as you sit amongst the garden-esque outdoor seating. Nachos are a hit here.
SEABIRDS KITCHEN (Los Feliz)

Stellar drinks and mocktails accompanying a satisfying vegan menu.
Watermelon “sashimi”, burritos and much more eye catching dishes come in all vegan fashion.

These Thai inspired dishes are legit so good that I didn’t believe they were vegan. The sticky fried rice with mango is next level but my favorite is the beefless garlic with broccoli.
All their options are approachable and the spices bring a great character to each dish. Shoutout Dani DMC my good friend who put me on to here!
Locali (hollywood) •
Cost: $$ Ambiance: An efficient cafe style vibe.
Smoothies, vegan coconut froyo and some of the most flavorful vegan Reuben sandwiches you can imagine, this spot is a must stop.
They also have an insane amount of healthy snacks lining the walls that could pass for “non-vegan” any day.
MAN EATING PLANT (Food Truck)

Plant-based Asian comfort food. One of the most flavorful vegan Bao dishes I’ve ever had.
Soaked in rich flavor yet still light, their garlic noodles are a major highlight.
Monty’s (Multiple locations)

A neighborhood and citywide favorite, this spot is known for their hip inside featuring classic burgers, fries and shakes. They do an amazing job keeping the authentic fast food vibe here.
From tater tots to sugar cookies and soda floats, Monty’s doesn’t lack in the comforting classics at traditional burger spots that scatter the city. The only difference, these are all vegan.

This is another one of my favorite spots for a vegan burger. They also do a phenomenal breakfast burrito that comes stuffed with tots.
Stop by and make sure to support them as they continue to expand. Mac and cheese, house-made ranch and vegan chicken sandwiches are also worthy options.
sage vegan bistro (Multiple locations)

Sage’s cauliflower wings are so fiya they made me sweat. From their signature beers and Italian dinner options with marinara pasta and cashew dill cheese, the options are diverse.
Make sure to try their loaded nachos that are light yet still pack a wide range of flavor!

Contagious flavors with a depth rivaling all non-vegan competition.
From hoagies to tacos and stacked fries, this Asian-fusion hotspot is worthy of praise.
Cruzer vegan pizza (Hollywood)

This is the most delicious vegan buffalo chicken pizza that I’ve had in the city yet. I would honestly get this pizza instead of “regular” pizza it’s so good.
Fresh ingredients and quick turn around time give this upscale feeling pizza joint an east coast vibe.
Vow Burger (fairfax)

This is where I got my “start” at understanding veganism. There’s an amazing staff here and menu items range from a vegan take on an egg McMuffin to vegan chicken tenders.
Fresh OJ and double patty burgers are stars on the menu. The best part here is that they work to help feed the less fortunate with each sale!
cafe Gratitude (multiple locations)

This is a relaxing spot for brunch and lunch with a fascinating menu. From Hawaiian flatbread pizza to quinoa and eggplant parmesan, you will be satisfied with your healthy decisions.
Each menu item starts with “I am” and ends with a positive word and you are supposed to order in this manner. It’s clear their goal is to spread positivity and self confidence.
vegan exchange la (North Hollywood)

A whole lotta vegan options here. This event takes place on Sundays' behind “The Federal” bar in North Hollywood. There are numerous options from vegan wings to dumplings and hot chicken.
The event also includes a number of vendors selling smoothies, sage, merchandise and more! It’s free so make sure to drop by and support!
VURGER GUYZ (DTLA)

An absolute must if you’re in the mood for a vegan burger. I promise if it came out in a McDonald’s bag at a drive-thru I’d think it wasn’t even vegan.
Big shoutout to this black owned business! They also serve tater tots. Always a plus.
